Despite the advances in digital tech, writing on a screen with a stylus or stylus-type device doesn’t quite compare to a traditional pen. But we’re getting really close. Now, six months after the KS launch date, backers have rewards in hand and consumers can openly purchase their own.
Each pen stroke is recorded, digitized, and can sync automatically with Evernote. Up to 1000 pages of content can be automatically archived and then downloaded to a smart device later on.
All notes are tagged with date, location and page, and the Neo Smartpen N2 is smart enough to know which page you’re continuing to add content to. This is made possible by the special N2 notebooks – don’t worry, they’re not any more expensive than notebooks you’d already purchase.
And because things digital are meant to make lives easier, all handwritten scribbles can be sent through a recognition process to transform it into typed text. So if you happened to jot down notes on the go, adding the content to a polished report takes only a fraction of the time.
